1. Governing Body (Elected Representatives)
🔹 Grama Panchayat President
The President is the chief executive authority of the Grama Panchayat. The President provides leadership in the implementation of development programmes and oversees the overall administration and governance of the Panchayat.
🔹 Vice President
The Vice President extends full support to the President in administrative functions. In the absence of the President, the Vice President performs the administrative responsibilities of the Panchayat.
🔹 Grama Panchayat Committee
The Grama Panchayat Committee is the principal governing body comprising elected representatives. It is responsible for the overall administration, governance, and development activities of the Panchayat.
👥 Standing Committees
Standing Committees are constituted to oversee key sectors such as development, finance, health, education, and welfare.

2. Administrative Staff
The Administrative Staff are responsible for implementing the decisions of the Governing Body in accordance with the law and ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the Panchayat Office.
💼 Panchayat Secretary
The Secretary is the chief administrative officer of the Panchayat. The Secretary coordinates office administration, official correspondence, file processing, and the implementation of statutory and administrative functions.
💼 Assistant Secretary
The Assistant Secretary assists in the administration and day-to-day functioning of the Panchayat Office. The officer also serves as the Member Secretary of Kudumbashree, coordinates various welfare schemes, and is responsible for implementing Scheduled Caste (SC) Development programmes.
💼 Junior Superintendent
The Junior Superintendent supervises the day-to-day office administration, coordinates file processing and the functioning of various office sections, and monitors the performance of office staff.
💼 Accountant
The Accountant manages the Panchayat's financial transactions and accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining income and expenditure records, budget preparation, taxation matters, and financial documentation.
💼 Senior Clerk
The Senior Clerk supervises office records and administrative procedures, coordinates the activities of various office sections, and scrutinizes important files before further processing.
💼 Clerk
The Clerk handles official files and records, manages tax collection, processes public applications, maintains office registers, and performs ward-level administrative and public service responsibilities.
💼 Office Attendant
The Office Attendant provides essential support for the smooth functioning of the Panchayat Office by handling file movement, office arrangements, document distribution, and other general office assistance.
🌾 Gram Sabha – The Foundation of Local Self-Government
The Gram Sabha is the official general assembly of the people residing within the Panchayat. It serves as the primary platform where citizens directly discuss local development projects, public needs, and welfare programmes, and make recommendations for decision-making. The Gram Sabha represents the grassroots institution of democratic local self-government and promotes people's participation in governance.
